My name's Katie, I'm 17 and I'm from Manchester (in England!)

I started watching 'beauty gurus' on YouTube when I was around 14 and just properly getting into makeup. I religiously watched the likes of Tanya Burr, Sammi from Beautycrush and then Gracie from Uglyfaceofbeauty, in awe. I often wished I had the confidence to do what they did! Then I discovered blogs, a little late to jump on the hype I know, and fell in love with Lily, Anna and Leanne.

So at the start of 2013 I took the plunge. I started up a blog. I hand on heart didn't think anyone would read it, but I am so proud of where my little blog is going!

 

I wanted to create a blog similar to what I read. I never claim to be an expert, nor a makeup artist, but I like experimenting. Who doesn't?! I want to get my opinions out there for other people to see, whether they be good or bad, about products because I know lots of people do research before buying new makeup and skincare products. But if I recommend a product I have no idea if it will work for you, it just works for me!

 

I hope to post several times a week, even if it's just a short and sweet post, but I'm in the middle of my A-levels so please be patient. I want to work on my blog and make it successful, and my next step is to start making youtube videos, but it will take a hell of a lot of confidence to get me to that point and I'm a way off!
